Market Research

More than 1 billion tons of food is wasted globally each year, and this number is expected to double by 2050 if the situation does not improve.

When we waste food, we also waste all the energy and resources used to produce it, such as water, land, and labor.

Opportunities

According to the Natural Resources Defense Council, reducing food waste by just 15% could provide enough food to feed over 25 million Americans each year. On a broader scale, reducing consumer food waste by 20-25% by 2030 could globally save $120-$300 billion annually.

Competitors Analysis

Facebook Market, TooGoodToGo, Uber Eats, Connecteam.

Complicated Posting: Time-consuming and difficult process.
Delayed Tracking: No real-time order updates.
Overwhelming Categories: Hard to match extra food with needs.
